I would like to thank you again for yet another wonderful financial award. The most recent scholarship concludes several years of generosity by the WAA - Seattle Chapter, for which I am extremely grateful.
After returning from Semester at Sea, Seattle was the perfect place to recuperate and prepare myself for my last year in Madison. I have loved spending summer as an undergraduate in Seattle, reconnecting with the city where I grew up. Nonetheless, knowing that returning to Wisconsin in the near future has lent this summer a fair amount of restlessness, as if I’ve been away from my second home for far too long.
As I go into my final year at the University of Wisconsin, I can already anticipate the nostalgia this year will bring. With that, I will forever be grateful to the WAA - Seattle Chapter for facilitating this experience and allowing me to enjoy and benefit so much from my four years as a Badger.
