Thank You for Scholarship
|
Hi, My name is Wendy Clarfeld. I was the recipient of the scholarship
award a couple of years ago and just wanted to reiterate my appreciation
for the scholarship award. I used the money to study abroad in Costa
Rica last summer and recently came back from a spring break trip to
Costa Rica. I fell in love with the country and the people and loved it
so much that I wanted to return there for my final spring break of my
college career. Had I not received the WAA - Seattle Chapter Scholarship
Award I would have never been able to attend a summer program there and
enhance my Spanish speaking ability and widen my world perspective. I
just wanted to thank you all again for awarding me the scholarship and
making my summer study abroad experience possible. I hope everything is
well for all of you in Seattle and you are not snowed on like we are
here in Madison today.
